My Journey

I was just sitting here thinking about how slow I am losing weight. I know that if I only watched what I eat and exercised more that I would lose it much faster, but that's just not for me. I am a girl that likes to eat.

Now, I am definitely trying to change some of my bad habits, like binge eating. I am also drinking a lot more water.

I figure that I am Ok with losing weight at this speed. If I keep this up I am sure that I can even be around 150 by this time next year, and that is definitely Ok with me.

I do not really dis-like my body as is, so that has a lot to do with the fact that i am losing it slowly. I just know that I would, health wise, feel a lot better when it's gone.

Anyway, stay tuned for Weigh-In Monday...............Maybe I will be down a pound or half a pound;)

Weigh-In Monday

.................Drum Roll Please........................174!!!! yay, that is definitely 1 pound gone and I finally broke through a rough spot. The scale actually looked a little below 174 but It's analog so it's hard to read sometimes. All I know is that is was definitely way below 175!!!

BTW~ I ended up using the cereal called "Just Bunches" for granola and it worked out great!!

I am looking for some Low-Fat Granola that you can buy at the store. I do not want to make my own. So any brands or stores that you know of, please let me know!!


P.S I am wanting to make those fruit & yogurt parfaits that you get at McDonalds.

O.K, I Had My Fun

I peeked at the scale today and it said I was down almost 2 pounds............but............. I had a few snacks today. Like Pizza, Ice Cream & Cookies :) Now I know that's not good but it has been a LONG time since I had yummy stuff.

Don't worry it's out of my system and hopefully when I do weigh in on Monday, I will see a loss.

Weigh In Monday

175.....Yup you read it right. Not one pound gone. Oh I lost 2 pounds right off the bat but that was over a month a ago and I have lost nothing else. I am trying to stay positive but it's really hard!!!!

On a good note. I bought a pair of pants the other day and I never wear pants and they were a size 14, which I thought I would wear a 16. And I also got a shirt in an x-large ad I had to go down to a large.

So anyway I will try to focus on that instead of not seeing the loss.

We are With Wii

We finally got our Wii tonight!!!! I have been calling Toys R Us everyday since Christmas and they just finally today got some in.

We had to get it from Toys R Us because we got a lot of gift certificates for there from Christmas.

Anyway, I haven't even played it yet but tomorrow night looks like Wii Night!!

Still Here

I haven't' been doing to good in the losing weight thing. I have been eating Ok and getting to Curves when I can but it's just not enough.

Right when I signed up for Curves my step-dad got put in Icu and my mom was the one who offered to baby-sit for me while I went. But now she spends her time working or at the hospital or dealing with things at home. So last week, I went 1 time :( I could go in the evening when Jim gets home but that messes up dinner and our evening.

I have been doing good on my eating. No binge eating here!!! That's good for me ;)

Friday is a new weigh in day for me!! **Fingers Crossed**

I am going to start logging all of the food I eatso I know what in the world is going on. I have exercised, I don't feel like I am over eating. I counted calories for a year so I am still kinda do it in my head.

Bottom line...........I HAVE GOT TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT!!!!!

Not Eating Well

......Well I have been havng some serious thing going on lately. my step-dad being in the ICU and my daughter breaking her finger and other things that I just can't blog about so eating has not been that great.

I am not binge eating or anything but when I do eat, it's fast food or pizza. If it's fast food, I usually just get a kids meal for portion control and if it's pizza, I only eat 2 pieces.

Exercise has still been going good though, so at least hopefully I won't gain. Oh, and all the stairs I have to do at the hospital is awesome!!!!!

Well Friday will be my weigh in day so we will see;) Wish Me Luck!!!

Yay Me!!!

Well just when I thought I wouldn't go to Curves today, I went at the last minute. As soon as my husband came home, I went!! Yay, 30 min of cardio & strength training.

I skipped the stretching but I really needed to get going!!!

I hope to do really well this week and hopefully I will see a change in the scale..........

Follow Me

Well I just added the "Follow Me" button on my side bar so you can watch me on my journey. It is also encouraging to me to know that people actually care. I need that kind of accountability.

I need to know that people are tuning in on Friday's for my weigh-in's. It makes me want to reach it even harder.

I didn't get to go to Curves today due to no baby-sitter but my sister offered to come over tomorrow morning so I could go. Which is good because I went to Olive Garden tonight for dinner!!! Will someone give me a swift kick in the behind!!!! I NEED to get on the ball with this eating thing.

Now in my own defense, I ordered the Alfredo pizza and only ate 2 small pieces and took the rest home for hubby to eat:) Also had a couple bread sticks and a bowl full of their yummy salad.

Ok, really, It's time to get on the ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still 175...............But really, that is Ok with me. I didn't gain any over Christmas and New Years Eve. So now it's timeto REALLY kick it up a notch and start counting my calories and getting to Curves!!
